Lot of em kinda get brushed off, but there's been some good ones with good ideas, same as everywhere else, I imagine. Just think, If we woulda had the sense to elect Ross Perot, we wouldnt have NAFTA and all the jobs moving out of country, and we (well the southern states, anyway) wouldnt have all these unskilled non driving foreign truckers hauling stuff up our highways.

Yeah,, I liked Ron Paul for President, and Fred Thompson too. A shame, we got what we got. *shrugs*
Hopefully we can survive 4 years, and then set the country back on track, and live thru it.

Just think, Mary Lincoln was taken to task for purchasing china for the White House during the Civil War. And Mamie Eisenhowe had to shell out the salary for her personal secretary from her husband's salary.
