Has anyone given any thought or plans to an alliance get together for Christmas? A meet and greet, come and go, even if its no big deal thingy?

I had thought this holiday season would be a bunt at work, it's turning out that it isn't going to be.. I normally have Fridays off, this coming Friday I've been told I'm expected there, and I'm keeping my head low so that I'm not asked to come in on Saturday

what all that means is that before Christmas I won't be able to do anything, but perhaps for New Year's?
